Homemade White Bread

Introduction

Made in bread machine on dough setting, put in bread pan and bake in oven. Made in bread machine on dough setting, put in bread pan and bake in oven.
Number of Servings: 25

Ingredients

    1 1/2 cups warm water
    4 Tablespoons butter (salted)
    2 Tablespoons sugar
    2 teaspoons salt
    4 teaspoons powdered milk (or 6 t. of instant)
    1 1/2 cup white flour
    3 Tablespoons vital wheat gluten
    1/2 cup potato flakes
    1 1/2 cup wheat flour ( personally ground from wheat in mill)
    2 1/4 teaspoons Yeast

    Put in bread machine in order listed. Put bread machine on "dough" cycle. After finished, dough in greased bread pan and bake at 350 degree oven for 30 - 33 minutes. Sliced in 25 slices

Directions

Mix in bread machine on dough cycle. When finished put in a greased regular bread pan and let rise again until it's about an inch out of bread pan. Bake for 30 - 33 minutes in 350 degree oven. If it's done - you tap the bottom of the loaf and if it sounds hollow, its done.

Serving Size: 1/4 inch slice of bread
