3 Bean Turkey Chili

Introduction

This is just a chili I made up when my husband and I first moved out and all we had in the pantry were a bunch of different kinds of beans that people had given us. Really you can used whatever kind of beans you like and as many as you want. Really you can used whatever kind of beans you like and as many as you want.
Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    1 lb ground turkey
    1 can pinto beans
    1 can kidney beans
    1 can chickpeas
    1 can corn
    1 chili seasoning packet
    2 cans zesty chili diced tomatoes


Tips

I never actually measured it out because my husband tends to eat a huge bowl full, but I'm sure it goes pretty far.


Directions

Brown up the turkey then put the chili seasoning packet it in and mix it together. Then dump in the rest of the ingredients. I usually let it simmer for a little while so the flavors can meld. I also dump some hot sauce in mine to taste. Fabulous over rice or if your not dieting mashed potatoes.

Serving Size: makes about 8 1 cup servings
