Experimental Meat Loaf 1

Introduction

Trying to add more veggies into my diet by adding them to the meatloaf mix. Trying to add more veggies into my diet by adding them to the meatloaf mix.
Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    1 lb lean ground beef
    1/4 cup sour cream
    1/2 cup italian style bread crumbs
    1 tbsp bbq sauce
    1 egg
    1 carrot
    1 small onion
    1 beet

Tips

Use your favourite bbq sauce
Use regular bread crumbs
I didn`t add any extra salt


Directions

Mince the carrot, beet and onion together very well (I used a manual food processor). Par cook in the microwave on high for 3-5 minutes.
Mix the beef, sour cream, bread crumbs, bbq sauce and egg with the veggies until thoroughly mixed
Pat into a loaf pan
Bake at 375 for 60 minutes or until cooked through

Serving Size: 8-10 slices per loaf
