Worlds best scallopped potato

Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    3 tbsp butter
    2 onions finely chopped
    2 cloves garlic minced
    3 cups milk
    tsp dry rosemary
    tsp basil
    tsp oregano
    1 tsp salt
    tsp pepper
    2 cups grated swiss cheese
    1-cup fresh breadcrumbs
    5 medium potatoes

Directions

Melt butter in skillet, add onion and garlic cook til tender do not burn
Reserve

Heat milk and rosemary,basil and oregano and salt and pepper
Reserve

Combine cheese and breadcrumbs
Peal potatoes and slice thinly

Place 1/3 of potato in the bottom of a buttered 2 qt baking dish
Spread onion over potatoes
Sprinkle 1/3 cheese mix over top
Place 1/3 potatoes on top then onions and 1/3 cheese mix
Place last 1/3 of potatoes, poor milk mix over top and sprinkle with cheese

Bake at 350 for 1h and 35 minutes
