agave nectar granola bars

Ingredients

    2/3 cup agave nectar
    1 stick butter blend
    2 tbls honey
    1 tsp vanilla
    1 cup flour
    1 tsp cinnamon
    1/2 tsp baking soda
    1/4 tsp salt
    1.25 cups rice crispies
    1 cup chopped nuts
    1 cup chocolate chips
    1.50 oats

Tips

Make sure it is completely cool or it will crumble. Can substitute any sweets you want for the 2 cups (dried fruit is good with chips but it will change the nutrients levels.)


Directions

Preheat oven to 325 degrees and line 9x13 pan with parchment paper. Mix nectar and butter until smooth. Add honey and vanilla. In separate bowl blend flour, cinnamon, baking soda and salt. Gradually add dry to wet until smooth. Fold in my hand the rice crispies, nuts, chips and oats. Press into pan and bake until golden brown, approx 20-25 min. Let completely cool and cut into pieces.

Serving Size: makes approx 28 pieces 1.5"x3"
