Introductionslow -cooker soup slow -cooker soup
1 lb hot or mild italian sausages (casings removed)
1 large onion, chopped
2 carrots, peeled and chopped
4 cups beef broth
1\2 tsp italian herb seasoning
1\2 tsp salt
1 small can(8oz) tomato sauce
1 large can(10 oz) tomatoes in juice, chopped
2 cups sliced fresh mushrooms
1 small pkg (10 oz) cheese tortellini
4 tbsp parsley
2 tbsp Parmesan cheese
(I add 2 tbsp of garlic chili sauce for extra taste)
Cover and cook on High- 3-4 hours or on Low 6-10 hours , or until vegetables are tender.
Cook tortellini separately and add to the cooked soup + the garlic chili sauce and Parmesan cheese. Reheat through and spoon in bowls .
