Introduction

Got this from a recipe book called "Cooking for One is Fun" many years ago. It is long since out of print, but I continue to use several of its recipes. It was a library book, and I never found a copy to buy--but believe me, I tried. Got this from a recipe book called "Cooking for One is Fun" many years ago. Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    Sauerkraut, 4 cup, undrained
    Onions, raw, 1 cup, chopped
    *Caraway Seed, 1 tbsp
    Garlic, 3 cloves, diced
    White Wine, 8 fl oz
    *Hillshire Farm Polska Kielbasa, 16 oz, sliced thin

Tips

The original author suggested serving this with boiled new potatoes. I never have, but it sounds like an idea.

Directions

Put it all in a crockpot, or in a large glass casserole dish. If using the crockpot, put it on low for 6-8 hours. If cooking in the oven, do it at 350 degrees for about an hour.
