Seasoned Chicken Strips - Baked

Submitted by: SHEILAWORK

Introduction

Chicken strips are normally for kids, but these are so good you will want to eat them too. They are moist and juicy and perfect on a salad! Chicken strips are normally for kids, but these are so good you will want to eat them too. They are moist and juicy and perfect on a salad!

Ingredients

    1 egg, large
    1 Tbs Yellow Mustard
    1 Garlic clove
3/4 Cup Panko Bread Crumbs, Plain
    2 tsp dried Basil
    1 tsp Paprika
    1/2 tsp Salt
    1/4 tsp Pepper
    1 lb Chicken Tenderloins

Tips

Instead of cooking it on the baking sheet, we like to cook it on a rack / grill over a backing sheet. It browns perfectly on both sides this way!

Directions

1) In a shallow bowl, combine the egg, mustard and garlic. In another bowl, combine the bread crumbs, basil, paprika, salt and pepper. Dip chicken in egg mixture, then roll in crumbs.

2) Place on a baking sheet coated with cooking spray. Bake at 400 degrees for 10 - 15 minutes or until golden brown and juices run clear.
