Tetchie's Scrumptious Protein Pancake

Ingredients

    Giant Brand Egg Whites Made Simple (Liquid Egg Whites), 0.35 cup
    *Quaker Oats - Quick 1 Minute - Dry, 0.25 cup
    Vanilla Extract, 1 tsp
    *Kirkland Ground Saigon Cinnamon, 1 tsp
    Fage - 0%, 2 oz (.25 cup)

Tips

Quick & Easy, I can make these before work!!

**I've only used Fage Greek Yogurt with this recipe and it's creaminess really lends itself to this recipe in my opinion.

Add in a tbsp of walnuts to the batter and it makes for an awesome, yummy textured surprise (increases the nutritional value by 50 calories & fat by 5)

Top with Agave Nectar or your favorite sugar free syrup or preserves. I love Morningstar Sausage Links (Vegetarian) as a side!!!


Directions

Heat skillet with nonfat cooking spray. In a bowl, mix quick oats, cinnamon (I use the Saigon Cinnamon from Costco or fresh ground), 1 tsp vanilla, 1/3 cup of egg whites and 1/4 cup of Fage Plain Greek Yogurt. Whisk ingredients until smooth. Pour into hot skillet, allowing time for the first side to brown (about 3-5 minutes). With Spatula, flip pancake and allow other side to brown (3-5 more minutes).

Serving Size: Makes ONE Large "Pancake"
