Ingredients

    Beans, red kidney, .5 cup (remove)
    Lentils, .5 cup (remove)
    *Potato, raw, 1 cup diced (remove)
    Turnips, 1 cup, cubes (remove)
    *Tomatoes, red, ripe, raw, year round average, 1 cup, chopped or sliced (remove)
    Celery, raw, 2 tbsp (remove)
    Onions, raw, 2 tbsp chopped (remove)
    *Wyler's Chicken Boulion Cubes, 1 serving (remove)

Tips

I USED 1 TBS OF CHICKEN FLAVORED TOMATO BOULION


Directions

TAKE ABOUT 2 CUPS WATER BRING TO BOIL. ADD RINSED BEANS BRING TO BOIL. TURN OFF HEAT AND LET SOAK 30 MIN. THEN ADD LENTILS AND CONTINUE 30 MIN. THEN ADD THE REST OF INGREDIENTS UNTIL ALL VEGETABLES ARE DONE ANOUT 1 HOUR.

  • I see the calories are wrong on this. That is because the recipe directions say it makes 5 servings while the calories calculations based on your number of servings says "1". :) You can go back and change this by editing recipe... :) - 1/18/12
