I made this one tonight! Meat was moist and tender...and the legs just fell away. Being a novice cook, next time I am going to try and rub the herb mixture and garlic under the skin as well. - 9/24/09

I made this today and it was incredible! I used 6 cloves of garlic and rubbed it and the spices on top and under the skin. This was my first time roasting a whole chicken and will do it again! So easy! - 12/31/09

Mine's in the oven, too--I doubled the rub ingredients and did inside and under the skin. I also stuffed the cavity with quarters of delicious apple from our apple tree--think it's going to be a hit. - 9/29/09

  • So easy! Smells good cooking! I usually stuff it loosley with onions.
I love recipes you put together quick and just let it cook. Hubby comes home, the house smells good, and you've had over an hour to do other things!

  • Absolutely delicious. I was only able to find a 6 lb chicken in our little grocery so I will have A LOT leftover for meals later in the week. I'm also going to use the bones to make Chef Meg's homemade chicken stock. - 2/3/10
