Introduction

Great vegan cheese substitute. Very thick, good for a sandwich spread, or for use on tortillas. Sprinkle on things like diced tomatoes, chili peppers, black beans for a yummy quesadilla, or just spread on toasted bread and serve as grilled "cheeze" with tomato soup. Ingredients

    2/3 cups nutritional yeast (not brewers yeast).
    1 cup flaxmilk or other non-dairy milk
    1/4 cup cornstarch
    4 tsp yellow mustard
    4 tsp onion powder
    4 tsp garlic powder
    1/4 tsp dried dill
    salt to taste (nutritional information counted 1 dash)

Directions

Whisk all ingredients in pan over med-high heat until thick and lumpy.

Spread on toasted bread for grilled cheeze sandwhiches.

Spread on tortillas for quessadillas and top with chili peppers, diced tomatoes, avocados, beans, and other toppings of your choice.
