Homemade Lentil Soup

Introduction

Ingredients

    1 cup Tru Roots Sprouted Bean Trio
    8 boneless skinless chicken tenders - cooked & chopped
    1 can organic diced tomatoes (don't drain)
    3 cloves garlic - minced
    1 carton organic, low sodium chicken broth (I use Imagine brand)
    1/4 sweet onion - chopped and cooked in 1tsp ovoo
    2 TB Bragg Liquid Aminos (or Tamari would work, too)
    1 tsp Herbs d'Provence
    1 bay leaf (remove before serving!)



Tips

I salt my onion a bit while cooking them in the olive oil. This really brings out the flavor.or how to fix. Sorry!


Directions

Combine all ingredients and cook over low for 30 minutes or until beans are tender.

Serving Size: Makes 10 - 1 cup servings
