Whole Wheat Banana Muffins w/ Nutmeg Glaze

Ingredients

3 medium ripe bananas mashed
1-1/2 tsp ground ginger
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp cloves
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup applesauce
2 egg whites
1 cup wheat white flour
2 tbsp cornstarch
2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
Glaze:
1/4 cup powdered sugar
1/8 tsp ground nutmeg
1-1/2 tsp milk 2%
few drops lemon juice to taste

Directions
Preheat oven to 425.
spray muffing tin or cups with cooking spray.
In medium bowl mix banana, ginger, cinnamon, cloves, brown sugar, applesauce, egg whites. In large bowl mix flour, cornstarch, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Then mix banana mixture in to flour mixture just until combined. Divide batter among muffing cups and bake until golden brown or toothpick inserted comes out clean, about 18 - 20 min. Let muffins stand for a couple min then remove from cups and cool on wire rack
