Ingredients

    1 cup all purpose flour
    1 large egg
    2 egg whites
    1/4 cup skim milk

Tips

I only allowed the dough to rest for 1/2 hour, and it turned out fine. This recipe is also halved from the original.


Directions

Mix flour, egg whites, whole egg, and milk together. Stir until combined. Place in refrigerator for at least one hour to allow the dough to rest.
Meanwhile, bring 1 qt of water to a boil. Add salt to taste. Pour spaetzle dough into colander, and hold over boiling water. Press dough through the colander holes with a spoon. When the spaetzle floats to the top of the water, it is done.
