Sweetened Steel Cut Oats

Introduction

I added a bit to my steel cut oats to make them taste a little better. I added a bit to my steel cut oats to make them taste a little better.
Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    1 cup Quaker Steel Cut Oats
    4 cups water
    2 Tbsp brown sugar
    1-2 tsp. ground cinnamon
    .5 tsp. allspice
    .5 tsp nutmeg

Tips

Play around with what you add to the oats according to your taste.


Directions

Prepare steel cut oats according to package directions. You can use milk or soy milk instead of the water if you like. When finished to your liking, add the cinnamon, brown sugar, allspice and nutmeg. You can add more or less or add fruit if you like.

Serving Size: Makes 4 servings of about 1 cup each
