Introduction

Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    Green Peppers (bell peppers), 0.25 cup, chopped
    Onions, raw, .50 cup, chopped
    Carrots, cooked, 1 cup slices
    Garlic, 2 tsp
    Extra Virgin Olive Oil, 1 tbsp
    Turkey, Ground turkey, 93% lean, 20 oz
    Bread crumbs, dry, grated, seasoned, 1 cup
    egg white, fresh, 2 large

Tips

I use Jenny O Italian seasoned ground turkey but you may use plain and season it as you like..allow to cool 5 minutes before slicing..garnish with ketchup if desired.

Directions

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. rinse and mash the canned canned carrots in large mixing bowl. Saute diced onion ,bell pepper, and garlic in olive oil until softened. Add to the carrots when cooled. Mix ground turkey, egg whites, and bread crumbs with hands. Place in baking pan and form into nice shape long enough to make six 1 to 1 1/2 in. slices

Serving Size: makes 6 1 1/2 in slices
