Spaghetti Sauce

Number of Servings: 36

Ingredients

    2 pounds lean ground beef
    2 cups chopped onions
    2 Tbsp minced garlic
    1 Tbsp oregano
    1Tbsp sweet basil
    3 bay leaves
    1 tsp black pepper
    1/2 tsp thyme
    1 tsp paprika
    2 cups diced celery
    2 cups diced green pepper
    2 cups sliced mushrooms
    3 cups San Benito crushed tomatoes
    2 cups water

Directions

Place ground beef, onions, garlic and spices into a 4-6 litre pot on medium high heat.

Brown the beef until there is no pink showing.

Add the celery, peppers and mushrooms to the pot and simmer until soft.

Add tomatoes and water.

Serving Size: Makes approximately 36 1/2 cup servings
