Basil Feta Veggie Omelet




Number of Servings: 1

Ingredients

    3 egg whites
    dash Garlic Powder
    dash Nu Salt (salt substitute)
    dash of Basil, chopped
    dash Black Pepper

    1/4 cup chopped onion
    1/4 cup Green Bell Pepper
    1 oz Fat Free Feta Cheese
    2 slice tomatoes
    1/4 cup chopped Broccoli

Directions

Mix egg whites and seasonings. Chop veggies.Grease pan. Heat on low heat. Saute veggies except tomato and set aside. Pour egg mixture into pan. When it is set up pour veggies on the omelet. Place Feta cheese on veggies. Place slice of tomatoes on top. Eat and enjoy.

  • Hey sis, what kind of grease are you using in the pan? That will count for some fat and calories and maybe some protein. My skillets are a really good no stick kind and I am not even allowed to use cooking spray. I saute w/out any oil! The recipe sounds great. I love Feta! - 1/25/12
