Ana's Crockpot Chili

Introduction

Ingredients

    1 Pound Beef, top sirloin
    2 Cans Canned Tomatoes
    1 Can Dark red kidney beans, canned
    1 Can Chili Beans, Canned
    1/2 Medium Onion, Chopped
    1 TBSP Garlic
    1 TBSP Chili Powder
    1 Tsp Cayenne Pepper
    1 Tsp Cumin
    1 Tsp Sage
    1 Tsp Ginger

Tips

If you find the tomatoes are too tart, you may cut a carrot to fit into the pot for one hour to reduce the acidity. NO MORE THAN ONE HOUR or the flavor will be bland.

Adjust seasonings to taste.

Directions

Brown beef in a skillet and add chopped onion at the end for no more than a few minutes. Dump all ingredients in the crock pot on LOW for 4 or more hours.
