8 oz. extra lean ground beef
1 can contadina tomato paste with pesto
1 can Muir Glen fire roasted diced tomatoes
1 packed Swanson flavor boost beef seasoning
1 cup fresh mushrooms, cut in large pieces
1/2 chopped onion
1 box DeLallo potato gnocchi
top with a sprinkle of parmesan
Sauce is surprisingly quick to cook and has a deep rich flavor. I think adding the flavor boost increased it. Next time I'll put in more mushrooms as well as shredded carrot and possibly celery.
While meat sauce simmers, bring 4-5 quarts of water to simmer in large sauce pan. Add gnocchi, boil for 4 minutes.
Top gnocchi with sauce; sprinkle with parmesan or other cheese if desired.
