Garbanzo Bean Blondies

Introduction

You will not believe how good these are until you actually try them - I know it sounds strange. I was a doubter too, but trust me, they're GOOD! You will not believe how good these are until you actually try them - I know it sounds strange. I was a doubter too, but trust me, they're GOOD!
Number of Servings: 15

Ingredients

    1 can of garbanzo beans (chickpeas)
    2 tsp vanilla
    1/4 cup almond butter
    1 egg
    1/4 cup oats
    1 Tbsp ground flaxseed
    1 teaspoon baking soda
    1/8 tsp baking powder
    1/2 tsp salt
    1/2 cup brown sugar, unpacked
    1/2 cup splenda
    1/2 cup chocolate chips

Directions

Drain and rinse garbanzos. Pulse in blender to break up. In blender or mixing bowl (my blender couldn't quite handle it), add almond butter and vanilla and beat with hand mixer. Beat in remaining ingredients except chocolate chips. Stir in chocolate. Pour into greased 7x11 pan and bake at 350 for 40-45 minutes.

Serving Size: Makes 15 2x3 in" blondies
