Mom's stuffed Bellpeppers

Introduction

This was my moms recipe... This was my moms recipe...
Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    4 Medium bellpeppers
    0.5 lbs lean hamburger
    1/4 cup white rice
    1can of Hunts tomato sauce
    2 tspn of sugar
    1 medium tomato diced
    1/4 cup celery
    1/8 cup katchup
    1/4 tspn salt & dash of pepper

Directions

Brown meat and set aside. Cut off tops of bellpeppers and clean out insides.wash ans set in side 8x8 or 9x9 baking dish.cook rice according to package.Then mix Celery, mediun tomato,katchup,hambuger,salt and pepper to rice and mix together. Add mixture to bellpeppers.
in a seperate small bowl mix tomato sauce and suger together, top each bellpepper with sauce but reserve 1/2 of sauce for after the peppers are done cooking then pour the remaining over tops again. Cook at 350 degrees for 35 min. uncovered
