I make mine a little differently. I sometimes use a pear in place of some of the apple. I sweeten the yogurt with a bit of honey and add a touch of vanilla. Sometimes I use pecans or almonds instead of walnuts. Grapes are a good substitute for raisins. - 1/18/09

Fixed this for a large family gathering. I tripled it, added sliced grapes, used dried blueberries instead of raisins, pecans and blueberry yogurt. (It's what I had on hand) Everyone LOVED it! Very versatile recipe. - 1/18/09

Good idea with the lowfat yogurt in place of may -- but how about a little honey in there for flavor/sweetness? - 1/19/09
