Mom's Best Granola

Ingredients

    8 cups oatmeal, old fashioned
    1 cup wheat germ
    1 cup unsweetened coconut, shredded
    3/4 cup sunflower seeds, salted
    1/2 cup sesame seeds
    1 cup pecans, chopped
    1/4 cup brown sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon, ground

    1/2 cup vegetable oil
    1/2 cup maple syrup, pure
    3/4 cup water
    1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

Preheat over to 325 degrees

In large bowl, combine all ingredients except for the liquids.

Combine liquids in container and brings just to a boil, pour over dry ingredients and stir to combined and evenly coated. Spread on 3 sheets pans.
Bake for 60 to 90 minutes, stirring every 30 minutes until golden brown.
