Ingredients

    For the filling:
    2 cups chopped sweet potatoes
    1/2 cup chopped carrots
    1 tbsp olive oil
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1/4 cup AP flour
    2 cups vegetable broth
    2 cups cooked chickpeas
    1/2 cup peas
    1 tsp sea salt
    cracked pepper
    dash of Tabasco sauce

    For the crust:
    3/4 cup cornmeal
    3/4 cup AP flour
    1 tbsp baking powder
    1 1/2 tbsp sugar
    1/2 tsp salt
    3/4 cup milk
    2 tbsp olive oil
    1 large egg yolk, slightly beaten
