Creamed brown rice with mushrooms

Introduction

This recipe is a recipe I made up to go with the chicken in white wine cooked in the slow cooker posted here. This recipe is a recipe I made up to go with the chicken in white wine cooked in the slow cooker posted here.
Number of Servings: 10

Ingredients

    1 package powdered onion soup mix
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    2 cups chicken broth
    2 cups long grain brown rice.

Directions

Combine ingredients in a 1 quart pot with a snug fitting lid. Bring to a boil on high, for about 5 minutes. Stir occasionally. Place lid on pot and decrease tempurtere to low. Simmer for about 55 minutes or until your desired tenderness. Makes about 10 serving at 3/4 cup serving size. We had enough for 2 meals for our family of 2 adults and 3 kids.
