Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

1 lb cubed or round steak
    1/4 Cup flour
    1 teaspoon salt
1/2 to 1 teaspoon black pepper
2 to 3 Tablespoons canola oil
1 Can Cambells condensed Old Fashioned Vegetable Soup
    3/4 Soup can water
    1 Beef boullion cube
    1 medium sliced onion

Tips

Makes a good bit of gravy. We like it served over rice, but have also enjoyed it with mashed potatoes or noodles. (Rice, mashed potatoes or noodles are not included in the nutrition count, so be sure to add)

Directions

Put flour, salt and pepper in plastic bag. Moisen steaks and shake in bag to coat with flour mixture. (or place flour, salt & pepper in dish and then dredge moistened steaks in the flour mixture) Add the oil to a frying pan and brown both sides of the steaks. Meanwhile slice the onion. When steaks are browned, add the soup, the can of water, the boullion cube and the sliced onion to the steaks in the pan and lower the heat. Simmer for about 25 to 30 minutes until onions are soft and steaks are done.
