Introduction

these granola bars are a filling meal or snack. these granola bars are a filling meal or snack.
Number of Servings: 16

Ingredients

    1 cup banana chips
    1 cup chocolate chips
    1 cup walnuts
    12 dates finely chopped
    1 14oz can of fat free sweetened condensed milk
    2 T "i can't believe it's not butter" melted

Tips

You can use wax paper to line a pan or cooking spray in the pan. I flip onto a cutting board after cooking for 5 min and slice into 16in bars. They will be crumbly the longer you wait.


Directions

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
1. Finely Chop banana chips, walnuts and dates. (A food processor works great)
2. In a large bowl mix chocolate chips with chopped banana chips, walnuts and dates.
3. Mix in the can of condensed milk and melted butter.
4. Add the oats, 1 cup at a time.
5. Press into a lined 13 x 9 in pan and bake for 25 minutes.
Top will be slightly browned when baked in the center of the oven.

Serving Size: a 9x13 in pan makes 16 1 1/2 inch thick bars
