Belgian Waffles

Ingredients

    1/2 cup whole wheat flour
    1/4 cup soy flour
    2 tsp baking powder
    2 egg whites
    1/2 cup soy milk
    1/4 cup apple sauce
    1/4 to 1/2 cup water

Directions

Sift flours and baking powder together. Add beaten egg whites, milk, and apple sauce. Batter will be very thick. Add sufficient water until desired texture. Bake using a waffle iron.

Makes 6 waffles.
