Katt's simple Clam Chowder

Ingredients

    2 tbsp olive oil
    1 c. diced celery
    1 c. diced onion
    1 can whole clams (10 oz/ 142 g)
    4 c. diced raw potatoes
    4 c. milk 1%
    2 c. water
    1/4 c. bacon bits (real)

Directions

in soup pot, saute celery & onion in olive oil until translucent. sprinkle with flour. stir well.

add all remaining ingredients. Simmer 20 - 40 min, until potatoes cooked and thickened.

add salt & pepper to taste. dilute with water to get the consistancy you prefer.
