Chick pea and spinach dahl

Ingredients

    dahl lentils, 225 gram
    Olive Oil, 4 tbsp
    Curry powder, 4 tbsp
    dried chick peas, 200 gram (soaked overnight)
    *Hot Chili Peppers, 1 pepper
    Garlic, 6 cloves
    Ginger Root, 4 tsp
    *Spinach - Fresh Express Baby Spinach (Raw), 100 gram

Directions

Bring chick peas to boil, then simmer for an hour in about a litre and half of water (keep eye on it occasionally) until it breaks down and is smooth and soft.

Meanwhile use food proccessor or blender for the garlic, chili and ginger and wazz up into a paste, then fry that with the curry powder and oil, then add the chick peas and coat them in the flavoured oil. Once lentils are cooked, add them to the pan with the chickpeas and spices, add the spinach and stir, simmer for a couple of minutes then serve.

Serving Size: chick peas need to soak ovenight
