Introduction

I drink this smoothie almost everyday. It helps to lower cholesterol. I drink this smoothie almost everyday. It helps to lower cholesterol.
Number of Servings: 1

Ingredients

    3/4 cups Quaker 1-minute oatmeal
    1/2 cup skim milk
    1 medium banana
    1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
    1 teaspoon agave syrup
    1 teaspoon whey protein
    1 teaspoon flax meal
    7-8 ice cubes


Tips

You can substitute the banana for an apple, berry, or any fruit that combines well with the oatmeal and the rest of the ingredients.
Also you can add Cocoa or dark chocolate.


Directions

Microwave the oatmeal with water for 1.5 minutes.
Put all the ingredients, including the oatmeal, in a blender.
Blend until desired consistency.
