Creamy Broccoli Soup in the RawSubmitted by: TRAVELNISTA
4 cups broccoli florets (you do want some of the tender green stems like the ones just at the top)
1 clove garlic
1 half fresh squeezed lemon
1/4 tsp. turmeric
1 Tbsp. of unpasteurized white (light) miso
2 cups water
Add your favorite fresh herbs if you would like. Basil, Chives, Dill, Garlic, Lemon Balm, Marjoram, Oregano, Tarragon and Thyme all go great with broccoli.
You could spice it up with cumin, curry powder or cayenne if you like heat.
Add all of the ingredients into your blender or food processor. I used my Kitchenaide Blender. Blend thoroughly till smooth.
Taste to see if you want any additional seasonings.
