Rawsome Banana Bread

Ingredients

    6 medium ripe bananas
    1 1/2 medium apples, chopped and seeded
    1 cup frozen blueberries
    1/4 cup raisins
    2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
    1/2 teaspoon vanilla
    1/2 cup chia seeds

    Optional:
    ¼ cup walnuts, soaked and dehydrated (chopped, for
    topping) not included in calorie count

Directions

Cooking time is for the time in the dehydrator.

Grind a 1/2 cup of chia seeds using a spice grinder or a blender. (will make 1 cup of chia flour)

Place peeled bananas, chopped apples, lemon juice, vanilla, blueberries, and raisins into a food processor using the “S” blade.

Process briefly until smooth.

Pour into a large bowl.

Add the ground chia seeds combine thoroughly with whisk making sure to break up any clumps.

“Plop” 1/4 cup of the mixture onto a paraflex sheet on a dehydrator tray lined with a mesh sheet. Spread into desired shape. ( optionally, sprinkle with chopped walnuts, press lightly)

Place trays in dehydrator for 4-6 hours @ 115 degrees. Then flip onto a mesh screen, peeling back the paraflex sheet and continue to dry for additional 6-8 or to desired dryness

Store refrigerated 3-5 days.
