Banana Nut Cereal

Introduction

Number of Servings: 1

Ingredients

    1/2 cup Skim Milk
    1 T Quinoa
    1/2 Medium Banana, sliced
    1 1/2 T Old Fashioned Oats
    1 T Oat Bran Cereal
    1 pinch Cinnamon
    1 T Chopped Walnuts
    1 tsp Splenda Brown Sugar Blend
    1/4 tsp Vanilla Extract

Directions

Pour the milk and quinoa into a saucepan and heat to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally

While the quinoa is cooking, mix the banana slices, oatmeal, oat bran, and cinnamon, then after 5 minutes add it to the quinoa

Simmer for another 5 minutes or until the mixture is to your preferred texture, then remove from heat and add the walnuts, Splenda Brown Sugar Blend, and vanilla extract.

Dig in!
