Introduction

Everyone raves about this salsa. The best thing is how easy it is to make, all in the food processor. Don't use a blender for this, or fresh tomatoes, or it will be foamy. Everyone raves about this salsa. The best thing is how easy it is to make, all in the food processor. Don't use a blender for this, or fresh tomatoes, or it will be foamy.
Number of Servings: 10

Ingredients

    4-5 cloves garlic, peeled
    4-5 green onions, washed, ends cut
    1 jalapeno pepper (buy several, cut the stem off & bite into it to find the hottest one)
    1 whole bunch cilantro, washed, chopped coarsely
    2 14.5 oz cans diced tomatoes (no seasonings), lightly drained
    1/2 tsp salt
    1/2 tsp pepper

Directions

Put garlic, green onions, jalapeno and cilantro into food processer. Process until coarsely chopped. Add canned tomatoes, salt & pepper. Process until all mixed up. Taste to see if it needs more salt or pepper. Enjoy!

Serving Size: makes 8 1/2-cup servings?
