My entire family loves this recipe! We call it 3-2-1 cake though, as it helps everyone remember the directions. 3 Tbs mix, 2 Tbs water and 1 minute in microwave. I love nutella and I usually drop a spoonful into the mix before I throw it in the microwave. Comes out great! - 6/7/12

Really like this recipe, great to be able to eat a single serving of cake without having a whole baked cake sitting around :) I decided to follow LISALOSINGLISA's idea and call it 3-2-1 cake so I can remember the instructions easily :) - 10/21/12

This is so AWESOME! Great for when you just have to have cake, but don't want to bake a whole cake...or if your family is having a whole cake, but you want to behave and yet not feel deprived. I'm so glad someone else did the math! - 3/13/12

  • Not the texture I was hoping for, but still pretty good. Super simple and tasty though! Still beats having an entire cake sitting on the counter! - 3/25/13

  • Delicious! I've been trying all kinds of mug cakes, but they have too many ingredients and are too dense. This was perfect...plus I can add fruit, nutella, etc. FYI, you have to use the AF cake b/c it's the only mix with egg whites included, which will bind everything together. - 3/5/13

  • is the angel food cake mix important or can you do this with just 1 box of regular cake mix? - 3/3/13

  • I love these little cakes. I measured out my mix before I started making them and I only got 34.66 servings so maybe different cake mixes have different amounts of mix in them. With the counts on my boxes mine were 104 calories before additions. - 11/11/12
