Ingredients

10 slices mult-grain bread
10 oz package mushrooms, sliced
2 TB olive oil
8 eggs
1 cup milk 1%
1/2 cup half & half
2 TB parsley
2 TB minced onion
1/2 ts black pepper
1/4 ts celery seed
1/4 ts salt
5 oz shredded cheddar
Directions
cube bread and let dry several hours, tossing intermitentlly.
sautee mushrooms, will make approx 1 cup
mix eggs, milk, half & half.
spray a 13"X9' pan, lay in cubed dry bread
pour egg mixture over bread.
sprinkle egged bread with herbs, spices then top with mushrooms and shredded cheese.
cover with foil
let rest several hours or leave in fridge overnight
bake at 350* for about 40
cut into 10 pieces (approx 4.5" X 2.5" pcs)
change up the toppings to suit your taste.
day old bread or stuffing mix works great.
is great prepared day before for a brunch.
can cut into smaller servings for a party bite.
