Homemade Oreo's

Ingredients

    1 box Duncan Hines Devil's food cake mix
    2 eggs
    1/3 cup canola oil

    .75 (16 oz) can frosting

Tips

Must use Duncan Hines cake mix. Other cake mixes do not turn out right.

Can use flavored frosting. May also roll edges of cookies in sprinkles for a more festive look.


Directions

Preheat oven to 350F.

Mix cake mix, eggs, and oil in medium bowl. Roll into 1" balls and place on ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 350F for 8-10 minutes. (makes 36 cookies).

Allow cookies to cool on baking sheet 2 minutes before transferring to cooling rack. Cool completely. Frost bottom of 1 cookie, then sandwich with bottom of another cookie.
