2 pounds flank steak
1 teaspoon grated lemon peel
2 tablespoons olive oil
1/4 cup lemon juice
1/4 cup low sodium soy sauce
1 teaspoon grated fresh gingerroot
(or 2 teaspoons powdered)
1 clove garlic, minced
1 teaspoon brown sugar
LC: Serve with roasted or steamed asparagus and a big green salad.
Regular: Add baked russet potatoes.
Kosher: Make sure beef is certified kosher.
Gluten Free: Make sure soy sauce is gluten free.
Preheat outdoor or indoor grill or oven broiler. Grill/broil for 5 to 8 minutes per side or until steak reaches desired level of doneness. Let steak rest for about 10 minutes before thinly slicing against the grain (diagonally).
