Gluten Free Vegetarian TVP Burgers

Submitted by: HEALINGCYN

Introduction

I wanted to grill burgers (vegetarian for 1 month, and Gluten free for 3 years) and all the ingredients I found had gluten, so I made my own recipe. I am hoping this is good! It is my first attempt. Please send me any recommendations! I wanted to grill burgers (vegetarian for 1 month, and Gluten free for 3 years) and all the ingredients I found had gluten, so I made my own recipe. Worcestershire Sauce to taste
    Olive Oil

Tips

I noticed that as the TVP mix got cooler, it was not sticking as well, so I put it in the microwave for 30 seconds, and added olive oil to prevent from falling apart. make sure you get the flour in all of the tvp or it will crumble

  • I added garlic and onion powders and baked it in toaster oven at 350o for about 20 minutes and it turned out pretty good. A little mustard or ketchup and onion and tomato slices were great additions on a gluten free bun. - 9/27/13
