1 pound round steak, cubed
2 tablespoons flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon dried thyme
1 tablespoon roasted garlic canola oil
6 medium carrots, peeled and chopped
4 medium potatoes, peeled and chopped
1/2 medium onion, thinly sliced
4 cups mushrooms, sliced
1/4 cup red wine
3 cups beef stock
2. Heat oil in skillet. Add beef mixture to skillet and cook until browned (about 5 minutes). Deglaze pan with wine.
3. Put all ingredients in crockpot and mix. Cook on low for 8 hours.
Serving Size: Makes 4 servings
