Hobo Chili

Introduction

Completely basic 4 bean and beef chili for a slow cooker. Completely basic 4 bean and beef chili for a slow cooker.
Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    1 lb ground beef
    1 can chickpeas
    1 can red beans
    1 can black beans
    1 can sweet yellow corn
    1 large can chili beans
    1 large can diced tomatoes
    cumin
    red pepper
    black pepper
    chili powder
    garlic salt
    Crystal hot sauce
    Worcestershire sauce

Tips

Of course, this is even better the next day.

Directions

1. Cook the ground beef in a pan, adding some seasonings as you do so.
2. While that is cooking, add the canned ingredients to the slow cooker.
3. Drain fat from ground beef and add to slow cooker.
4. Season to taste. I like mine with lots of pepper and cumin.
5. Cook on low for at least 5 hours. The longer, the better.

Serving Size: Makes around 8 two cup servings.
