Mom's homemade Chili

Number of Servings: 20

Ingredients

    2-4 lbs of lean ground beef or turkey
    1 small onion
    2 cans of kidney beans
    2 cans of chili beans
    2 cans red beans or black beans
    1 lg can of tomatoes diced (any flavor)
    1 can tomatoe sauce
    1 tbsp of chili powder
    Shredded Cheese

Directions

Cook hamburger and onion til done and then drain. Season meat with salt and pepper and chili seasoning. In a large pot placae all beans, tomatoes (diced) and tomatoe juice and sauce and cook on low. Mix in hamburger and cook slowly til boiling. Season with salt and pepper to taste as well as chili powder. Top each bowl of chili with shredded cheese and crackers. Makes 20 servings of 1 cup
