Introduction

This is a fairly thin, basic potato soup. This is a fairly thin, basic potato soup.
Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    4 c. water
    2 c. sliced potatoes
    2 t. salt
    1 c. half-and-half
    1/3 c. instant mashed potato flakes
    1/2 t. garlic powder
    1 T. butter

Tips

May serve with cheese and/or bacon. May add other vegetables as desired.


Directions

Boil water, potatoes, salt 30 minutes. Mash potatoes slightly. Add rest and simmer 10 minutes.
