Ingredients

    Saffron Couscous

    5 green onions, sliced
    1 2/3 cups water
    1/8 tsp saffron threads or 1/2 tsp. ground turmeric
    1/4 tsp salt
    1 cup whole wheat couscous



Directions

Bring water to a boil, add onions, saffron and salt and bring back to a boil. Stir in couscous. Remove from heat. Cover; let stand 5 minutes. Fluff with fork and serve.
