Ingredients

    -2 small apples, sliced.
    -1/2 c. 1-minute oats
    -1/4 c. brown sugar
    -1 Tbsp Lemon Juice
    -1 Tbsp Cinnamon
    -1/4 tsp cloves
    -1/4 tsp nutmeg
    -3 tsp margarine

Tips

*Leave the apple skins on to ensure you get the added benefit of fiber.
*If you want to reduce the calories further, replace with splenda brown sugar!


Directions

Place the sliced apples into a 5-8 inch casserole dish. Add the lemon juice and stir until all apples coated. Add cinnamon, cloves, and nutmeg. Stir until combined.

In a separate bowl, combine the oats and the brown sugar. Pour on top of the apples. Spread until even, and dot the margarine around the topping. Bake in a oven preheated to 375F for 40 minutes, or until the top is browned and the apples tender.
