Chicken Alfredo Penne

Ingredients

    8 oz Penne Pasta

    1 Chicken Breast
    1 Tbsp Olive Oil
    1 Tbsp Thyme

    1 1/2 Tbsp Butter
    2 Cloves Garlic
    1/4 Cup Fresh Parsley, or 2 Tbsp Dried
    1 1/2 Cup Milk
    4 1/2 Teaspoons Flour

Directions

Cook pasta according to instructions on the box.
Cube chicken. In a skillet over medium heat, warm olive oil and add the chicken. Sprinkle with dried thyme. Cook until golden brown and cooked through.
Combine the milk and flour until smooth, set aside. In a small sauce pan, brown the garlic in butter. Add the parsley, cook for 1-2 minutes. Do not allow the garlic to burn. Add the milk mixture and cook until thickened, about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Drain the pasta. Combine the pasta, chicken and sauce until evenly coated.

Serving Size: Makes Four 1 Heaping Cup Servings
