Honey Garlic Chicken

Introduction

Savory with a slight sweet note - delicious! Savory with a slight sweet note - delicious!
Number of Servings: 2

Ingredients

    2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
    2-3 cloves of garlic, minced
    2 T honey
    1 T salt

Directions

Pour three cups water in covered skillet. Add minced garlic and salt. Bring to a boil, add chicken and place lid on skillet. While chicken is cooking, preheat your oven to 475 degrees. Cook chicken until no longer pink in the middle (approximately 10-12 minutes). When chicken is cooked through, remove from skillet and place on wire rack over baking pan. Brush half of honey over chicken and place in oven. Bake for 5 minutes and then brush remaining honey over chicken. Bake until chicken is golden in color (just a few minutes!). Enjoy!
**please note that sodium content is not as high as what is listed, you are simply cooking the chicken in the salted water, not consuming 1 tablespoon of salt. However, salt can be removed for those on sodium-restricted diets.
